HELP – Healthy Environment, Less Pollution, youth exchange, Campina 2018
The youth exchange took place between 12 and 21 November 2018 in Campina, Romania, to promote the link between active citizenship and environmental protection through selective waste collection and reuse systems. The youth exchange brought together 30 young people aged 16-25 from 5 countries (Romania, Poland, Bulgaria, Estonia, Slovakia) and 5 youth leaders for 10 days. A summary of our activities can be seen in the short project’s movie.
The competencies acquired by participants in this mobility are not directly related to a particular field, being multidisciplinary. The methods used were based on non-formal education and made the transition from the information received to the transmitted information, with emphasis on the process of learning and awareness of the acquired competencies.
In the project were involved Ateliere fara Frontiere organization, local high schools Nicolae Grigorescu, local high school Energetic and one local NGO. The local press promote our project and activities in local high schools (movie is in Romanian).
As main results, participants were developed a website about the project HELP.
